From the reviews
I’ve never done hot mat Pilates but since coming here I fell in love with it. The atmosphere is amazing and the studio is extremely clean. Jess has been my go to instructor and her classes are a perfect mixture of intensity but still comfortable to anyone new to this. Ari, in front desk, was so sweet.
I've had a membership with Sweat EXT for almost 3 years. I absolutely love this place. It's affordable, an efficient workout, and they continue to get better and better. They continue to raise the standard year after year by upgrading equipment and continuing to keep top tier instructors on their team.
Went to an early morning class a few weeks ago using one of the intro offers, and I think the instructor did a good job! It felt like a mat pilates class. For me, it was a bit loud in the studio, but a normal level of loud for high intensity workouts (think cycling classes, etc).
I have been a Sweat Ext member since they opened their LA studio. Now an Atlanta resident, I am so excited to see the studio in my new home! I suffer from chronic pain due to arthritis and other knee injuries and the benefits of this studio have been immense.
Your first hot yoga class at Sweat EXT
Nervous about your first hot class? Almost everyone is, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: the room is heated, so it feels intense for the first few minutes — rest in child's pose any time you need to, no one will bat an eye. Hydrate: drink water through the day before class, not just as you arrive, and bring a bottle. What to bring: a mat and towel, water, and a change of clothes; wear something light you don't mind sweating through, and skip a heavy meal in the couple of hours beforehand. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and set up. It gets easier fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
