From the reviews
Went to The Foundry Scottsdale grand opening event and honestly — such a fun, high-energy experience. They had a full coffee and matcha bar, raffles, selfie moments everywhere, and even a live DJ during our heated Hot HIIT class which made the workout feel more like a party than a class.
The Foundry Scottsdale is hands down the best place for yoga, pilates, and HIIT classes. From the moment you walk in, the entire staff makes you feel so welcomed and supported. Corie does an amazing job leading the team and creating such a positive, motivating environment.
Absolutely love The Foundry! The manager, Corie, is truly amazing and creates such a welcoming, motivating environment from the moment you walk in. I especially love their barre and pilates classes — the workouts are challenging, fun, and leave me feeling stronger every time. I took a long break after an injury.
As a beginner, I always get nervous trying new workout spots! But Corie and the staff made me feel right at home from day one. The classes are fantastic, the playlists are always on point, and the overall energy of the studio is just genuinely good. Highly recommend!
Teacher training at The Foundry Scottsdale
The Foundry Scottsdale comes up for teacher training — confirmed on their own site. If you're thinking about becoming an instructor, a few things are worth asking up front. First, which certification the program leads to — most hot-yoga trainings are Yoga Alliance registered (RYT-200 or RYT-500), and the style matters: a Bikram or hot-power lineage trains differently than a hot-vinyasa or sculpt one. Second, the schedule and prerequisites — cohorts often run in intensive weekend blocks or over several months, and many studios want you practicing regularly there first. Third, cost and payment plans, and whether tuition includes an unlimited membership for the training period. Teacher training is a real commitment of time and money, so it's worth a call or an info session before you enroll.
Your first hot yoga class at The Foundry Scottsdale
Nervous about your first hot class? Almost everyone is, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: the room is heated, so it feels intense for the first few minutes — rest in child's pose any time you need to, no one will bat an eye. Hydrate: drink water through the day before class, not just as you arrive, and bring a bottle. What to bring: a mat and towel, water, and a change of clothes — there are showers on site; wear something light you don't mind sweating through, and skip a heavy meal in the couple of hours beforehand. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and set up. It gets easier fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
