From the reviews
The Hot Room offers such a wide variety of classes from Inferno Hot Pilates, Vinyasa Yoga, Original Hot Yoga (structured around Bikram yoga), Yin, with special pop-up classes. Some classes have music while some are silent. Most classes are heated, but some are not. There is truly a class for everyone.
Being a member of The Hot Room Bloomington has been nothing short of love changing. I've lost 115 pounds since January doing all the modalities offered by this location. Losing weight was only one facet of what I've gained.
I am enjoying trying this facility. The vibe is good, the classes are good. I am unsure if I can commit to a monthly because of schedule routine but also wish their power sculpt and pilates classes had more offerings as they seem to all be full for weeks on out.
The staff at The Hot Room is truly exceptional! Every team member is incredibly helpful, kind, and knowledgeable, always ready to offer support and guidance. Their positive energy and professionalism create a welcoming environment that instantly puts you at ease.
Teacher training at The Hot Room Bloomington
The Hot Room Bloomington comes up for teacher training — confirmed on their own site. If you're thinking about becoming an instructor, a few things are worth asking up front. First, which certification the program leads to — most hot-yoga trainings are Yoga Alliance registered (RYT-200 or RYT-500), and the style matters: a Bikram or hot-power lineage trains differently than a hot-vinyasa or sculpt one. Second, the schedule and prerequisites — cohorts often run in intensive weekend blocks or over several months, and many studios want you practicing regularly there first. Third, cost and payment plans, and whether tuition includes an unlimited membership for the training period. Teacher training is a real commitment of time and money, so it's worth a call or an info session before you enroll.
Your first hot yoga class at The Hot Room Bloomington
Nervous about your first hot class? Almost everyone is, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: the room is heated, so it feels intense for the first few minutes — rest in child's pose any time you need to, no one will bat an eye. Hydrate: drink water through the day before class, not just as you arrive, and bring a bottle. What to bring: a mat and towel, water, and a change of clothes; wear something light you don't mind sweating through, and skip a heavy meal in the couple of hours beforehand. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and set up. It gets easier fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
