From the reviews
My first Urban Sweat experience was very nice. Terrific welcome and introduction. Very clean. Easy to follow. Slightly disappointed that infra red sauna is a separate experience but each of the saunas, steam, and plunge were terrific. The cold plunge is COLD.
Steam room rocks if you hit the button outside! Cold plunges there are well, cold as all getup! 🥶 wish they were closer to Finlandia 150+° sauna. There 2 big waterbeds to relax on top of - made for 2. Saunas are gentle (salt) to moderate (turmeric & charcoal) and really hot Finlandia.
I had a fabulous facial with Michelle. She explained everything she was going to do beforehand and answered all my questions throughout the facial. She was gentle yet thorough. Michelle was also very personable and professional. She had wonderful suggestions for me as to how I could improve my home skincare routine.
I went for the sauna experience. It was amazing! Very relaxing atmosphere. I never knew I needed it but it was perfect!
Your first hot yoga class at Urban Sweat
Nervous about your first hot class? Almost everyone is, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: the room is heated, so it feels intense for the first few minutes — rest in child's pose any time you need to, no one will bat an eye. Hydrate: drink water through the day before class, not just as you arrive, and bring a bottle. What to bring: a mat and towel, water, and a change of clothes; wear something light you don't mind sweating through, and skip a heavy meal in the couple of hours beforehand. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and set up. It gets easier fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
