Yellow Monkey Wellness is truly the heart of our community here in Cross River. The moment you walk in, you feel the warmth of the space—the high wooden beams, the wide-plank floors, and the light pouring in through the windows overlooking the courtyard. It’s beautiful and calming all at once.

This boxing studio is absolutely next-level! I was looking for a workout that would push me physically and mentally, and this place has exceeded all expectations. The coaches are phenomenal—they’re motivating, knowledgeable, and know exactly how to push you while keeping the workouts fun and safe.
YMW has been a welcome addition to the area! There is a good variety of classes, the instructors are all welcoming and the other attendees supportive of one another. Plus you get an amazing workout! I always leave happy and confident.

Nervous about your first hot class? Almost everyone is, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: the room is heated, so it feels intense for the first few minutes — rest in child's pose any time you need to, no one will bat an eye. Hydrate: drink water through the day before class, not just as you arrive, and bring a bottle. What to bring: a mat and towel, water, and a change of clothes; wear something light you don't mind sweating through, and skip a heavy meal in the couple of hours beforehand. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and set up. It gets easier fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
