From the reviews

Hiii! I just want to share my experience here 😊 When my friends invited me to a “yoga class,” I was like… uhhh, not sure 😅 I’ve tried yoga twice before and it just wasn’t my thing, too slow and stationary for me. I get the whole body control and slow movements, but it never really clicked.

First off so happy that my favorite yoga studio from San Diego is now in my backyard in Logan Square! The classes have been great so far and I’ve had a few different instructors all with a different flow but so powerful in their own ways!

★★★★★ — Sara, Jan 2026

I’ve been going to YB for about a month. I’ve enjoyed almost all of the classes (but I especially love the yoga sculpt). I feel stronger, more mentally aligned, and I enjoy the positive energy yoga box brings to my days. I can’t wait to continue coming here and sharing this studio with my friends and family!

I have been going to YogaBox in Lincoln Park for a couple weeks now and have been really enjoying the sculpt classes. I always leave feeling great and have been going to these classes 4-5 times a week as my main source of working out cause that’s just how good they are!!

Teacher training at Yoga Box

Yoga Box comes up for teacher training — confirmed on their own site. If you're thinking about becoming an instructor, a few things are worth asking up front. First, which certification the program leads to — most hot-yoga trainings are Yoga Alliance registered (RYT-200 or RYT-500), and the style matters: a Bikram or hot-power lineage trains differently than a hot-vinyasa or sculpt one. Second, the schedule and prerequisites — cohorts often run in intensive weekend blocks or over several months, and many studios want you practicing regularly there first. Third, cost and payment plans, and whether tuition includes an unlimited membership for the training period. Teacher training is a real commitment of time and money, so it's worth a call or an info session before you enroll.

Your first hot yoga class at Yoga Box

Nervous about your first hot class? Almost everyone is, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: the room is heated, so it feels intense for the first few minutes — rest in child's pose any time you need to, no one will bat an eye. Hydrate: drink water through the day before class, not just as you arrive, and bring a bottle. What to bring: a mat and towel, water, and a change of clothes; wear something light you don't mind sweating through, and skip a heavy meal in the couple of hours beforehand. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and set up. It gets easier fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.

Heat and intense exercise aren't right for everyone — if you're pregnant or have heart, blood-pressure, or other health concerns, check with a doctor before your first hot class.
