From the reviews
I had my first experience at YogaBox Studio, trying a hot yoga class with weights, and it was intense but incredibly rewarding! I definitely worked up a good sweat and enjoyed pushing through the challenge. Huge shout out to Angela for guiding me and encouraging me to go beyond limits I didn’t think I could reach.
Lauren S. at Yoga Box is a top tier instructor. Her cues are clear and easy to follow. She is what every yoga instructor should aspire to be. She demonstrates, walks the classroom to give feedback, and paces the class perfectly. What really makes Lauren’s class my favorite is her music.
Great location, conveniently located! I signed up for 3 free classes to try and enjoyed every class I went to! Ended up signing up for the unlimited monthly since they were doing a promo and have continued to enjoy the classes. Each instructor is a little bit different so it keeps the classes interesting!
Katarina killed me in the best way possible. Her Pilates Sculpt class was everything I needed. The class was full on a Monday afternoon which just shows how good she is! The studio was clean & well spaced to accommodate everyone. Can’t wait to come back.
Teacher training at Yoga Box
Yoga Box comes up for teacher training — confirmed on their own site. If you're thinking about becoming an instructor, a few things are worth asking up front. First, which certification the program leads to — most hot-yoga trainings are Yoga Alliance registered (RYT-200 or RYT-500), and the style matters: a Bikram or hot-power lineage trains differently than a hot-vinyasa or sculpt one. Second, the schedule and prerequisites — cohorts often run in intensive weekend blocks or over several months, and many studios want you practicing regularly there first. Third, cost and payment plans, and whether tuition includes an unlimited membership for the training period. Teacher training is a real commitment of time and money, so it's worth a call or an info session before you enroll.
Your first hot yoga class at Yoga Box
Nervous about your first hot class? Almost everyone is, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: the room is heated, so it feels intense for the first few minutes — rest in child's pose any time you need to, no one will bat an eye. Hydrate: drink water through the day before class, not just as you arrive, and bring a bottle. What to bring: a mat and towel, water, and a change of clothes; wear something light you don't mind sweating through, and skip a heavy meal in the couple of hours beforehand. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and set up. It gets easier fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
