From the reviews
Love this studio and community more than I can say! Been going to YEA for about 6 years and I’ll go as long as I live in Austin. They helped me get through cancer and two pregnancies. Will never forget the special attention for pregnancy modifications and the overall thoughtfulness.
Just celebrated 10 years and 1000+ classes at this wonderful studio. I’ve had the privilege of attending 3 retreats and training with dozens of guest teachers. There is no other studio offering the mix of modalities this one is. Woman and minority owned as well! <3
I spent six months practicing at this beautiful place, participated in some workshops, and then met up with my dear yoga family in a yoga retreat. The all levels classes are incredibly well led.
Bikram Yoga East Austin is amazing! All the yoga teachers are phenomenal and very knowledgeable. They offer a variety of classes all week including the signature Bikram Yoga.
Your first hot yoga class at Yoga East Austin
Nervous about your first hot class? Almost everyone is, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: the room is heated, so it feels intense for the first few minutes — rest in child's pose any time you need to, no one will bat an eye. Hydrate: drink water through the day before class, not just as you arrive, and bring a bottle. What to bring: a mat and towel, water, and a change of clothes; wear something light you don't mind sweating through, and skip a heavy meal in the couple of hours beforehand. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and set up. It gets easier fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
