From the reviews
I absolutely adore this Pilates studio! I recently moved here from out of town, and one of the things I was most worried about was finding a Pilates studio with reformer classes that I would love as much as my old one. Not only did I find that here, but I honestly love this studio even more.
I’ve been signed up for Alma Collective since September and have attended 47 classes, all those classes have been difficult for me since I’m not an active individual. But Kait, Jordan, Rosie and Gabriell have been the most thoughtful and kind instructors I have ever met.
I never expected a Pilates studio to change how I see myself, but that’s exactly what happened at Alma Collective. I came in looking to get fit and left with so much more. A real sense of community, genuine friendships, and a quiet confidence that I can take on hard things.
I love a challenging workout and Reformer Sculpt is my favorite class at Alma! Gabbie’s class is fun with good music, and she is super helpful with coaching and reminders about form and muscle engagement. Sculpt is different from one class to another and the variety is really nice.
Your first hot yoga class at Alma Collective
Nervous about your first hot class? Almost everyone is, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: the room is heated, so it feels intense for the first few minutes — rest in child's pose any time you need to, no one will bat an eye. Hydrate: drink water through the day before class, not just as you arrive, and bring a bottle. What to bring: a mat and towel, water, and a change of clothes; wear something light you don't mind sweating through, and skip a heavy meal in the couple of hours beforehand. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and set up. It gets easier fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
