From the reviews
I lack in the coordination and athletic department, so I have always been reluctant to join a workout studio for fear of embarrassment. However, this year I pushed myself and took a leap of faith on Aware House Yoga, and I am so glad that I did. The studio is positioned in a beautiful area with wonderful views.
Beautiful studio + excellent class. The Hot Power Vinyasa class was a good workout while still keeping that yoga/moving meditation vibe. Studio was easy to get to and the room was nicely hot without being overbearing. Looking forward to trying out the other classes and teachers.
Aware House is by far my favorite yoga studio I've been too. The space is gorgeous and peaceful. The views can't be beat. The instructors are approachable, knowledgeable, authentic and welcoming. When you take a class, bake in some extra time to sit downstairs for some tea/coffee/chill and enjoy the view
Hot yoga right on the river - it can’t be beat. Tori has an energizing way of teaching that is so approachable so you don’t need to feel like a yogi pro to feel at home here. Also just a stunning studio!!!
Your first hot yoga class at Aware House Yoga
Nervous about your first hot class? Almost everyone is, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: the room is heated, so it feels intense for the first few minutes — rest in child's pose any time you need to, no one will bat an eye. Hydrate: drink water through the day before class, not just as you arrive, and bring a bottle. What to bring: a mat and towel (or rent them here), water, and a change of clothes; wear something light you don't mind sweating through, and skip a heavy meal in the couple of hours beforehand. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and set up. It gets easier fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
