From the reviews
This was my first ever experience doing hot yoga and I ended up getting a membership two months in a row. Every single one of the instructors are great and bring their own uniqueness to each class. You leave feeling revitalized with a sense of peace and confidence after your hard work.
I was on vacation out east and wanted to continue practicing yoga and someone recommended this place. I loved, loved, and loved everything about the studio. The teachers were amazingly friendly and knowledge about the practice as well as the level of the workout the students can do.
Took my first hot yoga class with Angela. I absolutely loved it. Angela was amazing and made me feel a part of. I was very comfortable. The moves the way she spoke encouraged me to not only be able to do the class but I felt empowered when I left. My mind and body felt so renewed. I’m absolutely going back !
I have never been a yoga person but a friend recommended I try out Andrew's 7 PM Sunday evening class and it was very nice. Something about the space--maybe the lighting and music made for a calm atmosphere. The yoga was gentle and I left feeling at peace. Definitely the best experience with yoga I've had thus far.
Teacher training at Buddha Beach Hot Yoga
Buddha Beach Hot Yoga comes up for teacher training — confirmed on their own site. If you're thinking about becoming an instructor, a few things are worth asking up front. First, which certification the program leads to — most hot-yoga trainings are Yoga Alliance registered (RYT-200 or RYT-500), and the style matters: a Bikram or hot-power lineage trains differently than a hot-vinyasa or sculpt one. Second, the schedule and prerequisites — cohorts often run in intensive weekend blocks or over several months, and many studios want you practicing regularly there first. Third, cost and payment plans, and whether tuition includes an unlimited membership for the training period. Teacher training is a real commitment of time and money, so it's worth a call or an info session before you enroll.
Your first hot yoga class at Buddha Beach Hot Yoga
Nervous about your first hot class? Almost everyone is, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: the room is heated, so it feels intense for the first few minutes — rest in child's pose any time you need to, no one will bat an eye. Hydrate: drink water through the day before class, not just as you arrive, and bring a bottle. What to bring: a mat and towel, water, and a change of clothes; wear something light you don't mind sweating through, and skip a heavy meal in the couple of hours beforehand. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and set up. It gets easier fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
