From the reviews
I have loved attending CorePower Yoga. The instructors have all been great--very friendly and helpful. The classes are a challenge, especially if you are not used to a heated room, but you are encouraged to take the poses as you need to in order to get stronger.
I have taken countless classes at CorePower, but no one does sculpt quite like Taylor K. Her intentions are… well, intentional, but also always relevant and relatable. Her workouts are a guaranteed challenge and she always finds a unique way to switch up her class. She is helpful in suggesting form adjustments.
I love the variety in music that each instructor uses. I love that each class even if it is the same level isn't identical. I love the ice cold washcloths.I love when an instructor burns sage or something similar or sprays nice smelling things, once she came around and cooled us with a fan.
This place is really welcoming and they make sure you feel like you belong. I loved how one teacher gave the students these little pieces of paper you could use to display if you were comfortable with her adjusting your position or not which I loved!!!
Your first hot yoga class at CorePower Yoga - Central Phoenix
Nervous about your first hot class? Almost everyone is, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: the room is heated, so it feels intense for the first few minutes — rest in child's pose any time you need to, no one will bat an eye. Hydrate: drink water through the day before class, not just as you arrive, and bring a bottle. What to bring: a mat and towel (or rent them here), water, and a change of clothes — there are showers on site; wear something light you don't mind sweating through, and skip a heavy meal in the couple of hours beforehand. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and set up. It gets easier fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
