It all depends what type of yoga you’re into. Personally Bikram is not my favorite it’s way too strict and military like but I do love a hot room so I like the Hot vinyasa or Hatha.
I got a Groupon where for a month of unlimited Bikram Yoga i paid $50. I have never done hot yoga before so i had to give it a try. Is so relaxing. I went 2 times already. First time in the evening. Amy was great. She explained me "the rules"(sit down if you feel dizzy, try not leave the room), which wasn't the case.
I love Glow Hot Yoga Studio. The staff is very welcoming and knowledgeable. They offer traditional Bikram Hot Yoga and that's exactly what I was looking for. Traveling all over the world I have noticed that it was more and more difficult to find a classic 90 minutes Bikram classes.
Clean, sleek studio with exceptional instructors, especially Raquel, Lina, and Jo. Each class I get better and never worry about the cleanliness at this studio. At other studios (that I will not name), I have picked up a cold from the humid venue. Not here! Great energy, enthusiastic staff, and focused practitioners.
Your first hot yoga class at Glow Hot Yoga Miami Beach
Nervous about your first hot class? Almost everyone is, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: the room is heated, so it feels intense for the first few minutes — rest in child's pose any time you need to, no one will bat an eye. Hydrate: drink water through the day before class, not just as you arrive, and bring a bottle. What to bring: a mat and towel, water, and a change of clothes; wear something light you don't mind sweating through, and skip a heavy meal in the couple of hours beforehand. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and set up. It gets easier fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
