From the reviews

I just attended for the Black History Month event and it was amazing! Me and my friends from Vanderbilt really enjoyed it, and we felt that it made us all closer. Kelly is a wonderful instructor. It is definitely my favorite hot yoga studio in Nashville! So welcoming with tons of options for any skill level!

I was able to come to a free hot yoga session for BHM today, and it was an amazing experience! Kelly is a very welcoming and calming instructor, and I look forward to taking more of her classes!!!

★★★★★ — Cortneia, Feb 2026

I had the absolute best experience at Highland Yoga Nashville! 💛 First, thank you Kelli for celebrating Black History Month on 2/22/26 and for inviting Forever Linked by The Smiling Dimple to be a vendor. That truly meant so much to me.

★★★★★ — April, Feb 2026

Had a great time today celebrating Black History Month! I participated as a vendor! This is my second time partnering with Highland and Kelly and Team are great! Very welcoming and acccomdating. We were supposed to be outside but it was so cold they have us setup inside which I was so thankful.

Teacher training at Highland Yoga - Music Row

Highland Yoga - Music Row comes up for teacher training — confirmed on their own site. If you're thinking about becoming an instructor, a few things are worth asking up front. First, which certification the program leads to — most hot-yoga trainings are Yoga Alliance registered (RYT-200 or RYT-500), and the style matters: a Bikram or hot-power lineage trains differently than a hot-vinyasa or sculpt one. Second, the schedule and prerequisites — cohorts often run in intensive weekend blocks or over several months, and many studios want you practicing regularly there first. Third, cost and payment plans, and whether tuition includes an unlimited membership for the training period. Teacher training is a real commitment of time and money, so it's worth a call or an info session before you enroll.

Your first hot yoga class at Highland Yoga - Music Row

Nervous about your first hot class? Almost everyone is, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: the room is heated, so it feels intense for the first few minutes — rest in child's pose any time you need to, no one will bat an eye. Hydrate: drink water through the day before class, not just as you arrive, and bring a bottle. What to bring: a mat and towel, water, and a change of clothes; wear something light you don't mind sweating through, and skip a heavy meal in the couple of hours beforehand. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and set up. It gets easier fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.

Heat and intense exercise aren't right for everyone — if you're pregnant or have heart, blood-pressure, or other health concerns, check with a doctor before your first hot class.
