Hot House Yoga has become an integral part of my life during the last year. The 90 minute original hot yoga works wonders for physical stamina and endurance, and translates into other areas, in particular teaching the body and mind how to breathe at the apex of difficult experiences.
My wife and daughter have been going to hot yoga for years and both are in fantastic shape. I am not. They have been trying to get me to go for as long as I can remember. Through my 30's I had always been in OK shape and was always fairly athletic. I hit my 40's and started putting on more and more weight.
This yoga studio is welcoming and the classes are fun and a great workout. It offers a fitness program that is a huge health benefit. I feel so much better since coming to the studio regularly. I started with Hot yoga then tried out Inferno Hot Pilates and vinyasa flow classes. I love them all.
Susie is amazing. She is thoughtful and informative. I am a seasoned 26/2 yogi. Her classes are what I love. She is focused. She guides, instructs, speaks, and teaches her class... in a manner I find thoughtful and kind. This is a come as you are, practice. Your first class will be hard. It's HOT.

Nervous about your first hot class? Almost everyone is, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: the room is heated, so it feels intense for the first few minutes — rest in child's pose any time you need to, no one will bat an eye. Hydrate: drink water through the day before class, not just as you arrive, and bring a bottle. What to bring: a mat and towel, water, and a change of clothes; wear something light you don't mind sweating through, and skip a heavy meal in the couple of hours beforehand. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and set up. It gets easier fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
