From the reviews
I can’t say enough good things about this studio! Every class leaves me feeling stronger, more energized, and accomplished. The workouts are challenging in the best way and just when you think you’ve reached your limit, the instructors encourage you to push a little further, and somehow you do.
I have been a member of Hot Spot Yoga for around 9 months at the new location. Backstory, I have not worked out before. I shopped around and went to many different places on and around the island, and the biggest factors for me was price (unlimited) and atmosphere.
I absolutely love HotSpot Yoga STA! The energy, the community, and the atmosphere, the vibes are unmatched! I recently completed both my Pilates and Hot Yoga teacher trainings here with Miranda, and she was so inspiring and supportive throughout the entire journey.
I absolutely love going to Hot Spot Yoga! Miranda and the entire team are consistently welcoming, personable, and highly professional, creating a great environment. The studio itself is always clean and feels very open, which I feel enhances my practice.
Teacher training at Hot Spot Yoga STA
Hot Spot Yoga STA comes up for teacher training — confirmed on their own site. If you're thinking about becoming an instructor, a few things are worth asking up front. First, which certification the program leads to — most hot-yoga trainings are Yoga Alliance registered (RYT-200 or RYT-500), and the style matters: a Bikram or hot-power lineage trains differently than a hot-vinyasa or sculpt one. Second, the schedule and prerequisites — cohorts often run in intensive weekend blocks or over several months, and many studios want you practicing regularly there first. Third, cost and payment plans, and whether tuition includes an unlimited membership for the training period. Teacher training is a real commitment of time and money, so it's worth a call or an info session before you enroll.
Your first hot yoga class at Hot Spot Yoga STA
Nervous about your first hot class? Almost everyone is, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: the room is heated, so it feels intense for the first few minutes — rest in child's pose any time you need to, no one will bat an eye. Hydrate: drink water through the day before class, not just as you arrive, and bring a bottle. What to bring: a mat and towel, water, and a change of clothes; wear something light you don't mind sweating through, and skip a heavy meal in the couple of hours beforehand. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and set up. It gets easier fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
