From the reviews
UPDATE: 7 years after I posted this review and I can honestly say that I would still give a 5 star rating. They’ve recently rebranded as Hot Yoga Baltimore, and also offer some great hot Pilates class options now too! The teachers and community are unmatched.
Beautifully appointed, state-of-the-art studio. The owners have taken care of every detail in this brand new space, and it shows! Clean, tidy, and well-kept. The hot room is equipped with far infrared heating, which research shows has tremendous therapeutic benefits and makes you feel renewed!
Ive been coming to Bikram Yoga Catonsville for about a year and a half and LOVE IT. The teachers and people are great and it feels like a true community. I feel better mentally and physically after being in the hot room and come here atleast 3-4 times a week.
Ive been practicing yoga for 10 plus years at multiple studios and Bikram Yoga of Catonsville is by far my favorite! The studio is always clean and the teachers are very experienced! I’ve learned so much being a member of the studio and would highly recommend!
Your first hot yoga class at Hot Yoga Baltimore
Nervous about your first hot class? Almost everyone is, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: the room is heated, so it feels intense for the first few minutes — rest in child's pose any time you need to, no one will bat an eye. Hydrate: drink water through the day before class, not just as you arrive, and bring a bottle. What to bring: a mat and towel, water, and a change of clothes; wear something light you don't mind sweating through, and skip a heavy meal in the couple of hours beforehand. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and set up. It gets easier fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
