From the reviews
UPDATE: I reached my 1000th class and several of the instructors attended my 1000th class which was so special and supportive and heartwarming. I’ve been attending this yoga studio forever now, and it’s truly become a sanctuary for me.
When I moved to the area I was looking for a yoga studio to call home! I tried a bunch and they were wonderful but it never felt like my home studio, until I walked into inspire! Inspire's two studios are wonderful. It was exactly what I was looking for, the instructor want to know you on and off the mat!
I was a member of Inspire Yoga, Highland Village and moved out of state. I have been searching for a yoga studio for 12 months and nothing compares to Inspire. First, the teachers are VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE and have a plan before starting class. They don’t have you pausing while thinking of next pose or flow.
I love Inspire Yoga in Highland Village! Their classes are fun, challenging, and inclusive for all levels. The studio is nice and inviting with lots of natural light. The instructors are very knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly.
Teacher training at Inspire Yoga
Inspire Yoga comes up for teacher training — confirmed on their own site. If you're thinking about becoming an instructor, a few things are worth asking up front. First, which certification the program leads to — most hot-yoga trainings are Yoga Alliance registered (RYT-200 or RYT-500), and the style matters: a Bikram or hot-power lineage trains differently than a hot-vinyasa or sculpt one. Second, the schedule and prerequisites — cohorts often run in intensive weekend blocks or over several months, and many studios want you practicing regularly there first. Third, cost and payment plans, and whether tuition includes an unlimited membership for the training period. Teacher training is a real commitment of time and money, so it's worth a call or an info session before you enroll.
Your first hot yoga class at Inspire Yoga
Nervous about your first hot class? Almost everyone is, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: the room is heated, so it feels intense for the first few minutes — rest in child's pose any time you need to, no one will bat an eye. Hydrate: drink water through the day before class, not just as you arrive, and bring a bottle. What to bring: a mat and towel, water, and a change of clothes; wear something light you don't mind sweating through, and skip a heavy meal in the couple of hours beforehand. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and set up. It gets easier fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
