From the reviews
Loved the format of the class (weights for 7 mins & then cardio) great workout!! A bit too hot for that much cardio, but not impossible to do! Loved that we hit every muscle group with the weights! Would love to hear more of today's music, but it was nostalgic!
Lotus Loft has a great intro package for new students: unlimited visits for one month for $50. Nancy is a fabulous teacher. I enjoy her Yin class immensely if I lived here, I would buy an annual membership!🪷
I took a hot yoga class on Thursday with Christy, it was my first time at the studio and I absolutely loved it! This is only my third time doing hot yoga, (my first time here in Florida), and I have to say I was quite blown away at how friendly and welcoming the staff was! (The participants as well)!!
Talented instructors with good rhythm and mix of enlightening comments, physical push, and insightful instruction. Great music, lighting, and vibe. To her credit, the owner Andrea has nurtured a community of instructors and yogis that is inimitable.
Your first hot yoga class at Lotus Loft
Nervous about your first hot class? Almost everyone is, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: the room is heated, so it feels intense for the first few minutes — rest in child's pose any time you need to, no one will bat an eye. Hydrate: drink water through the day before class, not just as you arrive, and bring a bottle. What to bring: a mat and towel, water, and a change of clothes; wear something light you don't mind sweating through, and skip a heavy meal in the couple of hours beforehand. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and set up. It gets easier fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
