From the reviews
I love Pilates House! If you have an injury or are in recovery from surgery, their staff is incredibly supportive and knowledgeable. Last week I called to ask a question about a class.
I love this studio. I was looking for a new gym or studio to get a membership with, and after looking around for months, I went to Pilates House and bought a membership after my first class at the Roland Park location. All the classes are challenging and different.
Really enjoyed my strength and length class with Olivia! Her class was very welcoming yet posed as a good challenge. She made adjustments where needed and kept a smooth + consistent flow. Highly recommend. Will be attending more of her classes moving forward!
I have done yoga before however not hot yoga & I must say my 1st time doing hot yoga was good.I’m definitely going to make this a monthly routine. The staff were great & welcoming, my yoga instructor was awesome . The atmosphere & overall experience was a vibe.
Your first hot yoga class at PILATES HOUSE
Nervous about your first hot class? Almost everyone is, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: the room is heated, so it feels intense for the first few minutes — rest in child's pose any time you need to, no one will bat an eye. Hydrate: drink water through the day before class, not just as you arrive, and bring a bottle. What to bring: a mat and towel, water, and a change of clothes; wear something light you don't mind sweating through, and skip a heavy meal in the couple of hours beforehand. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and set up. It gets easier fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
