The styles they teach
“While every teacher at R2R brings something unique, some follow the Bikram style of cueing more rigidly and add less variety to the 24+2 sequence.”
“I can't say enough good things about the Sculpt class with Chrissy!”
“The instructors are knowledgeable, patient, and create a welcoming environment for all levels of yogis.”

“It's easy to find a generic yoga studio in any city and get what you need but it's much harder to find a place that has an amazing Community of Members attached to it.”

It's easy to find a generic yoga studio in any city and get what you need but it's much harder to find a place that has an amazing Community of Members attached to it. And so welcoming!
In all my years of yoga, this has been one of the most welcoming studios. Yoga Pod Lowry provides a balance of a studio you can work out with barre and fit classes, and also a place to slow down, be mindful, and connect to your spiritual side. Not to mention they offer Aerial classes and have great retail options.
I’ve been a student at Root to Rise Yoga for almost a year… Time to contribute my honest review! All the teachers are talented, but my favorite BY FAR is Natasha. Her classes are disciplined and intentional. She adds so much depth to her instruction with imagery, anatomy and demonstrations.
I’ve practiced at this studio for over seven years, even back when it was under a different name. It has been a constant in my life through a lot of seasons, and that says something. Andi, the owner, genuinely cares about creating a space that feels warm and welcoming. You feel that intention the moment you walk in.
Your first hot yoga class at ROOT TO RISE YOGA
Nervous about your first hot class? Almost everyone is, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: the room is heated, so it feels intense for the first few minutes — rest in child's pose any time you need to, no one will bat an eye. Hydrate: drink water through the day before class, not just as you arrive, and bring a bottle. What to bring: a mat and towel, water, and a change of clothes; wear something light you don't mind sweating through, and skip a heavy meal in the couple of hours beforehand. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and set up. It gets easier fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
