From the reviews
unless you have tried hot Bikram yoga, you won't understand what I mean here. Experience can't be described in words, you need to experience the "feeling" in person. I am so glad I found this studio. You walk into the studio - attend class - and you walk out a different person ( in a very good way :).
The staff is friendly, professional, and accommodating. The entire facility is open, airy and spacious. Everything is immaculately clean and organized and the air-quality is perfect due to an over-sized high-volume HVAC that continuously pumps fresh, sanitized, heated air into the studios.
Bikram yoga Scarsdale is the best! Classes are consistently great and challenging, provided by experienced and professional instructors. Facility is clean and always fully stocked with essentials in the shower room/bathroom. They also have a freezer with ice pops to refresh yourself....awesome studio, must try.
I loved that everyone was super attentive since we walked in. It was our first class at Bikram Yoga Scarsdale and our first time doing hot yoga in a few years. Everyone was very welcoming and got us settled in very quickly. Facility is very clean and there is a great atmosphere shared with everyone.
Teacher training at Sweat Central Hot Yoga and HIIT Classes
Sweat Central Hot Yoga and HIIT Classes comes up for teacher training — confirmed on their own site. If you're thinking about becoming an instructor, a few things are worth asking up front. First, which certification the program leads to — most hot-yoga trainings are Yoga Alliance registered (RYT-200 or RYT-500), and the style matters: a Bikram or hot-power lineage trains differently than a hot-vinyasa or sculpt one. Second, the schedule and prerequisites — cohorts often run in intensive weekend blocks or over several months, and many studios want you practicing regularly there first. Third, cost and payment plans, and whether tuition includes an unlimited membership for the training period. Teacher training is a real commitment of time and money, so it's worth a call or an info session before you enroll.
Your first hot yoga class at Sweat Central Hot Yoga and HIIT Classes
Nervous about your first hot class? Almost everyone is, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: the room is heated, so it feels intense for the first few minutes — rest in child's pose any time you need to, no one will bat an eye. Hydrate: drink water through the day before class, not just as you arrive, and bring a bottle. What to bring: a mat and towel, water, and a change of clothes; wear something light you don't mind sweating through, and skip a heavy meal in the couple of hours beforehand. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and set up. It gets easier fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
