From the reviews
If you have done yoga all of your life or just starting, as I did a few years ago, you will find no better home than with Tara Morris. Physically, Tara and her style of yoga took an ex-collegiate athlete with 10 knee surgeries and made me better. Challenging my body to the hardest workouts it has had in decades.
Tara has truly changed my life. She is the most genuine, compassionate, and fun human you will ever meet. Her classes are incredibly powerful and bring me to tears often (in a good therapeutic, empowering way of course!). She also has the hardest class around, but stay on the bus!!
Wow. I mean WOW. I'm a long time fan of all things yoga and exercise, so I definitely came into this class thinking I knew my body, I knew the flow etc. But after taking a 75 minute hot yoga class with Tara, I realized I had no idea what my body was capable of.
It is hard to put into words the joy that The Love Offensive has brought me. The studio and Tara creates a safe space to practice and move "the way love makes us move". I especially love Rebecca's classes. She has the ability to make me forget what is going on outside of the class and allows me to connect to my breath.
Your first hot yoga class at The Love Offensive Hot Power Yoga
Nervous about your first hot class? Almost everyone is, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: the room is heated, so it feels intense for the first few minutes — rest in child's pose any time you need to, no one will bat an eye. Hydrate: drink water through the day before class, not just as you arrive, and bring a bottle. What to bring: a mat and towel, water, and a change of clothes — there are showers on site; wear something light you don't mind sweating through, and skip a heavy meal in the couple of hours beforehand. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and set up. It gets easier fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
