From the reviews
I love the infrared workouts and how easy it is to operate the Hotworx app!! The staff is great and knowledgeable, willing to help any way they can! This is a perfect addition to your current regimen or if you're looking to try something new!!
My experience was superb! The facility was clean and the service was professional, honest, and informative. From the history of the business to the tour of the facility, including the merchandise, I was impressed! The actual workout was challenging as expected, but so rewarding.
I love my time at Hotworx and have been going for about one year! Hot yoga is an excellent way to destress and I can fit sessions into my busy schedule. I find the staff helpful, personable, and professional. I find the studio well maintained and clean. The owner is very kind and approachable.
10/10 experience! I signed up for the free workout class and did the hotcycle! It was intense but such a good burn! Rylie and Joanne were also so sweet, attentive, and overall just amazing! This is your sign to join and get those summer bodies readyyy!!!
Your first hot yoga class at HOTWORX - Baton Rouge, LA - Perkins at Essen
Nervous about your first hot class? Almost everyone is, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: the room is heated, so it feels intense for the first few minutes — rest in child's pose any time you need to, no one will bat an eye. Hydrate: drink water through the day before class, not just as you arrive, and bring a bottle. What to bring: a mat and towel, water, and a change of clothes; wear something light you don't mind sweating through, and skip a heavy meal in the couple of hours beforehand. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and set up. It gets easier fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
