The styles they teach
“I cried in final savasana at core power yoga today at the bittersweet memories of how much Doma has been the light for me through my darkest days.”
“Took an intense yoga sculpt class, mostly sculpt not much yoga, with loud music so if you like to get sweaty and really hot and pushed to the edge, go for it.”
“This is great place for any beginners and advanced because they offer suggestions for both at every single class.”

From the reviews
I love this studio. I moved from San Diego where Pilates & Sculpt are very mainstream and competitive in a sense, tried a few other well known studios in Sacramento and it was the same energy - churning classes out, packing us into a pitch black room like sardines, no thoughtful explanation of how/why to do the…
It’s been a year since I last practiced at DOMA Yoga, and I’m thrilled to say it still exceeds expectations. The experience remains phenomenal, with exceptional teachers who guide you through every pose with care and expertise. The community here is warm and welcoming, making every visit enjoyable and inspiring.
This is the first studio I’ve committed too and I’m so glad my friend dragged me to do the 30 day for $29 because I was hooked. All the classes are instructed by some truly amazing human beings with nothing but good intentions to push you within your limits !
Hi, I’ve been coming to this place for about a good year and half. This place is so fabulous, diverse and super compassionate. There’s this spiritual Devine vibes there, all about love and unity.
Teacher training at DOMA Studio
DOMA Studio comes up for teacher training — confirmed on their own site. If you're thinking about becoming an instructor, a few things are worth asking up front. First, which certification the program leads to — most hot-yoga trainings are Yoga Alliance registered (RYT-200 or RYT-500), and the style matters: a Bikram or hot-power lineage trains differently than a hot-vinyasa or sculpt one. Second, the schedule and prerequisites — cohorts often run in intensive weekend blocks or over several months, and many studios want you practicing regularly there first. Third, cost and payment plans, and whether tuition includes an unlimited membership for the training period. Teacher training is a real commitment of time and money, so it's worth a call or an info session before you enroll.
Your first hot yoga class at DOMA Studio
Nervous about your first hot class? Almost everyone is, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: the room is heated to around ~95°F, so it feels intense for the first few minutes — rest in child's pose any time you need to, no one will bat an eye. Hydrate: drink water through the day before class, not just as you arrive, and bring a bottle. What to bring: a mat and towel, water, and a change of clothes; wear something light you don't mind sweating through, and skip a heavy meal in the couple of hours beforehand. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and set up. It gets easier fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
